Entry Categories

1. Hand Quilted - any size, any technique

2. Bed Size Quilts

3. Group (constructed by 2 or more persons) - any size, technique, or quilting method

4. Crib/Children's Quilts (juvenile theme) - any technique or quilting method

5. Large Wall Hangings (more than 200" total all sides) - any quilting method

6. Medium Wall Hangings (120" - 200" total all sides) - any quilting method

7. Small Wall Hangings (less than 120" total all sides) - any quilting method

8. Miniature - Reflects reduced size and miniaturization; any technique; blocks 4" or less. Overall size not more than 96" total all sides

9. Holiday Wall Hangings - any technique or quilting method

10. Household - includes table runners, place mats, pillows, tote bags, tree skirts, stockings, etc.

12. Challenge - "Ladybug Quilt Challenge".

The Minot Prairie Quilters invite you "Catch the Quilting Bug" by participating in our 2011 "Ladybug Quilt Challenge". Here are the rules:

Any size or type of item
Any technique
Any quilting method (must have three layers held together with quilting)
Ladybug(s) may be on the fabric(s), chosen and/or created using applique. or any other technique chosen by the entrant.
Item will be judged on originality, overall appearance, color, and design, construction, quilting and finishing.
Item will also be eligible for "Viewer's Choice Award"

13. Youth Quilts, made by a person 16 years of age or younger - any size or technique. Quilts will be critiqued, but not judged. No entry fee is required and no prize money will be awarded.

14. For Display Only - will not be judged, yet is eligible for Viewer's Choice Award. There is no fee to enter this category.
