#301 "Harmony Wall Quilt" - Nancy Odom (National Teacher)

Hollyhocks stand tall and colorful in this quilt that combines appliqu and simple piecing. Nancy will teach you basic quick-fuse appliqu techniques and piecing methods for the square#in#a#square border. There will also be discussion of the various fusible products available today and threads for blanket stitching on raw edge applique. Finished size: 24" x 39". Pattern required: Harmony by Nancy Odom. Kits available.

This workshop is designed to show any quilter some quick and easy shortcuts to making pieced quilts. Heidi will show you techniques she uses everyday in The Whimsical Workshop. She will cover tips for setting up a sewing area, piecing techniques and finishing techniques. Heidi will also show you how to put a binding and sleeve onto your quilts completely by machine.
